TREME CREOLE GUMBO FESTIVAL
Go there and contact
Two festivals in one, where music, dance, art and local gastronomy are honored in a place full of history.
It is on the place where slaves used to meet to sing and dance that this nice festival dedicated to music, dance and food is held. The gumbo is the star of the festival, in all its possible variations, and for the music, the brass bands take turns to play without a break. The festival also hosts a small arts and crafts market. Note that this event takes place simultaneously with the Congo Square Rhythms Festival.
