Famous green tramway suggesting a stroll to admire the fabulous houses and gardens that make up the neighborhood.

The famous green streetcar that Tennessee Williams named Desire travels down St. Charles Avenue, making a long loop from Canal Street to Carrollton Avenue. Its route under the oaks serves Loyola and Tulane universities and Audubon Park. In service since 1835, it is the oldest continuously operating streetcar in the world. It is a must for any tourist visiting the city. Hop on Canal Street and let yourself be carried to the Garden District where you can stroll through the fabulous homes and gardens that make up the neighborhood.

Sillonner la ville à bord du célèbre tramway nommé Désir. Une balade historique à travers l’histoi Et les decennies. Belle maisons d’epoque, archisteçture caractéristique du sud. Prendre une passe d’une journée qui donne droit à tous les transports en commun pour un prix dérisoire. Ne pas hésiter à débarquer du tram et marcher un peu autour des édifices où dans les quartiers. Il y a beaucoup d’arreTs et de nombreux tram...on attends jamais très longtemps. Certains chauffeurs se permettent d’etre des guides humoristiques. À ne pas louper.

Nostalgie pure de ce tram qui fait découvrir une partie de la ville, le long de St Charles Street.
N'hésitez pas à prendre les différentes lignes (de couleur) pour apprécier le charme des quartiers de La Nouvelle-Orléans.

A faire absolument !!! Très peu comfortable mais tellement abordable et surtout une vue magnifique. Prendre un billet pour la journée et s'arrêter au grè des façades et lieux à visiter.
