Three Old Banks in New Orleans: Old Bank of Louisiana, Old Bank of the United States and Old Louisiana State Bank.
Old Bank of Louisiana (334 Royal Street). The building was built in 1826 to house the former Bank of Louisiana.
Old Bank of the United States (343 Royal Street). With its wrought iron balconies, this building was built in 1800 to house the Old Bank of the United States. It is the oldest of all the financial institutions.
Old Louisiana State Bank (403 Royal Street). This building was built in 1821 to house the Old Louisiana State Bank according to the plans of Benjamin H. Latrobe, one of the architects of the Capitol in Washington.
