GALLIER HOUSE
Organization managing two historic houses and offering several activities and special events throughout the year.
Owned by architect James Gallier, who designed the Opera House and many of the Garden District's homes, the house remained in the same family until 1917, when it was restored and turned into a museum. It is a perfect recreation of an 1860s neo-Orleans interior. The visit can be combined with the Hermann-Grima House next door. The organization that manages the two historic houses also offers several activities and special events throughout the year.
