Apothecary store with huge blown glass bottles full of colored liquids offering an interesting visit.
This apothecary store was founded by the first licensed pharmacist in the country, Louis J. Dufilho Jr. Some jars still hold strange potions. Some were used by the voodoo priestess Marie Laveau. Huge blown glass bottles full of colored liquid still attract passersby. This visit is more interesting for older people who will recognize certain "drugs" (at one time, cocaine) or medical habits.
