Louisiana's urban refuge with many endangered species and some 340 species of birds
Located on the eastern edge of the city of New Orleans, just before the bridges to the Northshore region, it is the last remaining marshland site in the Lake Borgne and Lake Pontchartrain area and the largest peri-urban bayou in Louisiana. It is home to many endangered species, such as the great brown pelican, and attracts birdwatchers with some 340 species of birds present in this urban refuge of about 100 km2. A must-see if you're passing through!

Superbe!
Végétation atypique et grande variété d'oiseaux en tous genres. Normalement il y a aussi des crocodiles mais nous n'en avons pas vu. A faire aussi en swamp (petit bateau à moteur).
