GREENWOOD PLANTATION
Plantation built in 1830, offering rooms with a balcony and a beautiful view of the estate
This plantation was built in 1830 by William Ruffin Barrow in the Greek Revival style. The house burned down almost entirely in 1960, leaving only the columns and the stoop, before being rebuilt in all its period splendor. It now welcomes guests for the night in one of the eleven cozy rooms on the property (note that the rooms are in cottages, not the main house). Each room has a balcony with a beautiful view of the estate, the main house and/or the pond.

The host was extremely friendly and welcoming
The breakfast was good. It was a bit short on fruits for my taste, I asked for more and I was brought a small portion of strawberries. My wife asked for a glass of cold milk and got it as well.
Absolutely fantastic views.
