GREVEMBERG HOUSE MUSEUM
Furnished house with antiques from the 1830s-1870s, built by Henry Wilson in 1850 in Franklin
This house was built in 1850 by Henry Wilson who sold it in 1857 to the widow Frances Wikoff Grevemberg. She lived there until her death in 1871, with her second husband Gabriel. In 1880, Senator Donelson Caffery bought the house after various successions, and it became the property of the city in 1948. Four white Corinthian columns support a house furnished with antiques from the 1830s-1870s, decorated with art objects collected in the parish, according to Gabriel Grevemberg's 1857 inventory and Frances Wikoff's 1871 inventory.
