From the strong house built a few hundred centuries ago, only the wall wall and the old stone tower remain. Nestled at the bottom of the valley, 4 km south of the village, the March bridge was not a good military defence position. The lord of the places, Penguin du Mollin, then moved deeper ditches west. Having taken possession of the land after the revolution of 1789, the Chalendar family will use many stones through which the strong house was built to build a new castle after 1848.
