Renovated hot tubs invite you to discover the rainforest before accessing the 41°C water, said to have healing properties.

Whatever the starting point, the hike to the Hot Baths allows you to discover the humid forest before reaching a water temperature of 41°C. Be careful, as the water can even rise to 60 °C. This water would have virtues for the skin and rheumatism. The site is accessible from the forest house of Matouba or Papaya, near the "Eaux Vives" clinic. The site has recently been renovated and fitted out in the form of open-air showers with a jet ramp in the middle of the basin. This 4.7 kilometre walk is of medium difficulty.

Matouba du nom d'une des deux eaux de source que la Guadeloupe consomme est aussi un super lieu pour les amoureux de ballade en nature et qui se termine avec un bassin bouillonnant délicieux. L'expression après l'effort le réconfort existe bel et bien avec cette ballade hautement recommandable.
