A sporting itinerary offering panoramic views, varied landscapes and a geological history linked to the Soufrière volcano.

It's strongly recommended to be accompanied by a guide because the trail remains dangerous. Starting point at the La Savane parking lot in Mulets. Follow the Chemin des Dames, then turn left. You enter a dense forest. The way is particularly muddy and invaded by vegetation. After 250 m of straight way and a right turn at 90°, leave on the left, to take a first road, then the next one that is very close. A visible sign at the last moment indicates the site. At the forefront, endless banana fields, at the end of the straight line, the Joséphine house. Park the car near the oak and turn right after the banana packaging hangar. Follow the stone path about 400 m until it becomes oblique by a left turn. Here, a narrow pathway leads to a beautiful view of La Soufrière mountain and Papaya Plateau and then to the Saint-Louis river until the Matouba waterfall.
