Museum of Popular Beliefs in Monastier-sur-Gazeille, presenting paintings, photos, sculptures and objects.
It is on the ground floor of a castle built in the 16th century that the Museum of Popular Beliefs is located. Its aim is to make the public aware of the myths, legends of the rural world, the culture and roots of Velay. Patrice Rey has modelled and painted around 200 characters that he exhibits in settings sometimes traditional, sometimes fantastic. There are also paintings, photos, sculptures and antique objects.
