LA VIA FERRATA DU PUY-DES-JUSCLES
Created on the initiative of the community of Communes, on the commune of Du, 10 km from Saint-Julien-Chapteuil, via ferrata du Puy-des-Juscles is a structure that offers two sports courses - one of 1 h 30, the other of 2 h 30 - on the Juice-des-Juscles, volcanic eruption dating back 12 million years. It is an exceptional site of peaks, of juices with the backdrop of the Velay Mountains and the Massif massif which orient your arms. The routes are, of course, equipped with climbing aid devices, and an accompaniment cable called a line of life. Throughout these two courses, eight workshops are proposed in the rocky failles of these ancestral volcanoes. Beware! It is strictly forbidden to venture on the site without being fully equipped. It is best before embarking on the adventure to know a minimum the mountain and to be in good physical condition. The course may be conducted freely, under the full responsibility of the practitioner who must strictly comply with the rules and safety instructions, or in group, under the responsibility of a graduate attendant.
