The square was dedicated to a young chorister who sang carols in the surrounding streets during the Christmas holidays.
The Place des Tables looks as if it came straight out of a painting. In the 15th century, it was dedicated to a young chorister who sang carols in the surrounding streets during the Christmas holidays. Until 1803, the fountain in its centre stood in the rue des Farges, next door, the district of the blacksmiths and blacksmiths. As for the houses surrounding the square, they are of various styles. One more effort, and the rue des Tables leads to the cathedral square. The climb is so steep that the pavements are like steps!
