Young and old alike can enjoy the trampoline, the roller rink in summer and the skating rink in winter... The basement of the restaurant offers a cosy atmosphere to drink one of the three beers brewed on the premises (including the sweet Medus Alus, a traditional honey beer), to watch the hockey games on the big screen or to listen to a band playing traditional music. Large self-service restaurant with a wide choice of dishes. A bit far from the centre, so if you don't have a car we recommend the Lido in the centre.

Il y a plusieurs Lido à Riga et on n'y va pas pour la finesse de la cuisine, mais pour la rapidité, le choix important des mets proposés et les prix doux. Celui-ci est vraiment hors norme. Son intérêt est, entre autres, qu'il est hors du centre historique et la balade en tram pour y arriver est intéressante puisque l'on traverse des quartiers bien différents de ceux de la vitrine touristique. Nous y sommes allés, un soir, au début du "Festival de Danse et de Chants lettons", événement incontournable de l'identité lettonne. A notre arrivée, un concours de groupes folkloriques y était organisé. Très sympa. L'extérieur est vraiment d'un goût "kitch" et très bétonné, ancêtre désuet d'un parc à thème. L'intérieur ressemble à un chalet en bois géant. La clientèle est essentiellement locale, principalement familiale. Le personnel est efficace et avenant. Nous sommes allés à l'étage, moins fréquenté. Un bon groupe de Jazz y chantait. Le buffet froid et chaud était varié et à volonté. Il faut tester les vins géorgiens. Très bonne soirée hors des sentiers battus.
