This atypical restaurant is tucked away in a narrow street in the old town, in a cellar resembling a Second World War bunker. The name says it all: Austrumu Robeza means "Eastern Border". In a room with a camouflage motif on the wall, busts of Lenin, Stalin and... hitler. On the tables, ashtrays inlaid with a red star, plates bearing the effigy of Lenin. On the plates, Baltic and international specialities.

Very typical but very good food and vodka to go with it. First visited restaurant with Riga, but that was worthwhile!
