From lunchtime onwards, you can drop in for soup, quinoa salad with tofu or a comforting karbonāde (the famous Latvian pork chop) at super-reasonable prices... and there's nothing to stop you popping in just for a drink. With its exposed brick walls, wooden ceiling, large communal tables and table soccer, it's an inviting place to get together.
