Riga Technical University is a higher education institution located in Riga. Founded in 1958, it is one of the country's leading universities. The university's main building is in Kaļķu iela 1, but it also has branches in other Latvian cities such as Cēsis, Daugavpils, Liepāja and Ventspils. The university offers a variety of study programs in different fields, including computer science, architecture, civil engineering, economics and management, and many more. With nearly 15,000 students enrolled in 2016, Riga Technical University is a dynamic and lively place of learning. The Ķīpsala campus is currently under construction and is scheduled for completion by 2020. Once completed, it will become the most modern center for engineering studies in the Baltic States.
