BLACKHEAD HOUSE
Built in 1334, this building, considered the most beautiful, was destroyed during the bombing of 1941, but rebuilt identically in 1999, in accordance with the motto of the building which says: "If I am destroyed, let me be rebuilt. "It housed the single members of the merchants' association. Towards the end of the 19th century, the façade was decorated with coats of arms and zinc sculptures paying homage to Neptune, god of the sea, and Mercury, protector of commerce. The current facade is an exact copy of the 16th century facade.
