This museum evokes the history of occupied Latvia from 1940 to 1991. Over this fifty-year period, the Soviets and the Nazis successively occupied Latvia. The Soviet deportation in March 1949 left behind only three photos to remember. Here you can see the only photo of the deportation of March 25 from the Ventpils station. It is easy to understand the dark hours of the country in a short time. It is fascinating, moving and unmissable to understand the country. The plus: a French translation is available.

Le musée a été déplacé
On trouve, désormais, ce musée à côté de la maison des têtes noires, place de l'hôtel de ville. Néanmoins aussi intéressant!
