This small museum traces the development of photography in Latvia from 1839 to 1941. The Minox, the ultimate Latvian-made spy camera, is the star of the museum. The legend of the brand and its cameras is closely linked to the name of Walter Zapp. The famous engineer wrote a page in the history of photography in 1938 with an invention: the Ur-MINOX. This camera, which uses the 8 x 11 mm film format, is praised for its size. Today, there is no smaller camera with such an excellent lens!
