Built around 1883, this manor house is a wooden monument with prominent neo-Gothic elements. Formerly the residence of a Latvian entrepreneur Kristaps Morbergs, the building has retained its painted ceiling lights, stained glass windows, round earthenware stoves and a fireplace. The manor house and its ancillary buildings were bequeathed by the patron to the Latvian State University in 1928. Tours of the interior are available by appointment only.
