PUMPURS MĀJA

This little house on the edge of the park on the way to the beaches is an ideal place to stop for a bite to eat when your stomach is crying out. Made entirely of wood, it looks like a country house in the middle of the city. The setting is warm and inviting, with white walls, wooden tables and natural lighting fixtures. The menu doesn't spread itself too thin, offering such classics as chicken broth, pork ribs and fish balls, but we recommend the homemade meatballs, which are delicious and comforting on cold days. Prices are reasonable.
