It is the fair on the occasion of Saint Casimir, protector of Lithuania, with many craftsmen who come to exhibit.
The fair is held in honour of St. Casimir, the patron saint of Lithuania, and is sometimes called the Casimir Fair. Every year, on the first weekend of March, the Kaziukas Fair brings together craftsmen from all parts of Lithuania and neighbouring countries in the Old Town of Vilnius. Handicrafts for sale. Lithuanians take advantage of the fair to buy dried plants, corn husks..., which they will bring out for the Palm Sunday.
