Created in 1973, it is one of the last festivals in Europe that honours folk music with singing, theatre, dance..

Since 1973, Skamba Skamba Kankliai has brought the Lithuanian capital to life and is one of the last festivals in Europe to feature folk music. During this folk art festival, the courtyards of the old town are used as a backdrop for performances of folk songs, dances and theatre. It is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the traditions and history of the country and to discover a little-known part of the culture. Not to be missed if you are in the area.
