It's one of the earliest Baroque buildings in Lithuania, and still perfectly preserved. For those in the know, the plan is based on that of the Church of the Discalced Carmelites in Rome. The marble and granite façade is an example of early Baroque, while the interior is late Baroque. Masses are in Lithuanian, Polish or Latin. Next door is the Ostra Brama chapel, with its images of the Virgin Mary.
