To the east of the centre, located in a small forest, this cemetery has a memorial honouring Napoleon's soldiers who died of starvation or wounds in Vilnius during the Russian retreat. The remains of 2,000 of them were discovered in 2002. There are also graves of Polish soldiers, and those of the victims of the Soviet special forces killed on 13 January 1991. Moving! If you walk through the park, you will find beautiful views of Vilnius.
