The House of the Signatories is a landmark in the country's history. On February 16, 1918, Lithuania declared its independence, and the document attesting to this was signed in this house. Signed by the Council of Lithuania, independence came just under two years after the Singing Revolution, in which two million Balts took part. In the museum, you can see the room and office where the document was signed. Every February 16, the Lithuanian flag is raised here once again.
