Jonušas Radvila built this palace in the 17th century as Commander-in-Chief of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and Governor of Vilnius. There are permanent exhibitions of 16th- and 17th-century European portraits and paintings, as well as a gallery featuring some 165 family portraits in their former home. There are also temporary exhibitions, such as one on rebels and art under Soviet occupation.
