In this small district, compared to the Parisian Montmartre, no fewer than 7,000 people live here, including around 1,000 artists. It is one of the capital's oldest suburbs. In 2002, this bronze sculpture was unveiled in the central square of Užupis. It represents an angel blowing a trumpet. It was erected to honor the memory of Zenonas Šteinis, an artist and active member of the local community. Today, it is a popular meeting place.
