The Lithuanian capital is home to numerous art museums and galleries, including the Vilnius Art Gallery. This museum features paintings, drawings and sculptures by Lithuanian masters from the 16th to the early 20th century. Cultural evenings and classical music concerts are organized here. A visit to the gallery also includes the Chodkevičiai Palace, built in the early 17th century and remodeled and enlarged in the 19th century in a classical style. The furnishings of the restored palace are as much worth a visit as the paintings.
