LA FERME DE VINCENT
La Ferme de Vincent is a producer of mountain produce located in the town of Les Estables, Lozère. Their farm is located in the hamlet of Froidviala, in the heart of the Margeride massif, at an altitude of 1,200 meters. They raise mainly Aubrac and Aubrac/Charolais crossbred cows, as well as BMC (Blanche du Massif Central) ewes. Their heifers spend the summer in summer pastures at an altitude of 1,400 meters, in an area classified as Natura2000, above the Lac de Charpal. The animals are raised until the age of 18 to 24 months for the cattle and 3 to 4 months for the lambs. La Ferme de Vincent emphasizes an eco-responsible approach by reducing distribution channels and intermediaries, in order to offer quality local meat. The animals are slaughtered and processed in Lozère, in an approved abattoir, then in a cutting plant. Deliveries are made in refrigerated vehicles to guarantee respect for the cold chain.
