NATIONAL ETHNOGRAPHIC OPEN-AIR MUSEUM (LIETUVOS LIAUDIES BUITIES MUZIEJUS RUMŠIŠKĖS)

The Ethnographic Museum, created in 1966, brings together the various traditional architecture of the four major regions of the country, on 175 hectares, from the th century until the first half of the twentieth century. The entire visit represents 6,5 km of walking and a minimum of 3 hours. From the entrance, an exhibition of traditional sculptures allows to discover the evolution of techniques from the th century to the present. Once the bridge has passed, several itineraries are available to you. The following can be done in the opposite direction.

First, Dzūkija, the poorest agricultural region, is made up of small farms. Then, that of Aukštaitija, in which many farms are grouped around one street.
