BIRUTĖS VILA

If you take a stroll along the banks of the River Niemen before reaching Vytautas Park, you'll notice a single-storey white pavilion below. In fact, it houses a fountain whose mineral-laden water evaporates, bringing benefits to those who breathe it in. Among other things, it is said to cure skin and breathing problems. Step inside, settle into a deckchair, relax and let the gentle lapping of the fountain lull you to sleep. Stay there for twenty minutes or so, and return to your walk feeling totally relaxed.
