NIDOS BANGA * * *
Hotel with three villas offering simple rooms with a good breakfast and friendly, welcoming staff.
Situated on the lagoon, not far from the Thomas Mann Museum, this hotel has three villas, the former guest houses of Hermann Blode, the founder of the artist colony, famous in Nida in 1890. The rooms are simple and unpretentious. However, they could do with a little refreshment. The staff speaks very little English, but the place is welcoming and quiet. We recommend Nidos Banga for one night in Nida; if you want to stay longer, it can be a bit uncomfortable. Good breakfast.
