MERIDIANAS

Here, we dine on a boat, a former Finnish vessel built in 1948. For twenty years, it plied the seven seas and served as a training ship for apprentice sailors and officers. When she was laid up in 1968, she was brought to Klaipėda on the banks of the Dané, to be refitted as a restaurant in 1971: the Meridianas. As you can imagine, the emphasis here is on seafood. The fresh fish dishes are delicious and the service impeccable. Concerts are organized at weekends. An unusual experience in an enchanting setting.
