Opened in 2018, this museum traces the town's history during the Second World War, particularly during the German occupation. Numerous objects from the period and official documents are on display in three of the museum's halls. The final room is the Memory Room, featuring a symbolic 6-meter-long cart with a sand-covered glass lid filled with ordinary household items, as well as objects once belonging to German soldiers or civilians from Klaipėda. Exciting and highly instructive for young and old alike!
