In this museum (Antano Mončio namai-muziejus), we discover the works of a famous sculptor Antanas Mončys (1921-1993), who left the country in 1944. He later settled in Paris and donated all his works to the city of Palanga. The variety of materials used for his sculptures is enormous: amber, stone, metal, plastic and more. Some of his amber sculptures are made from stones that friends brought him as gifts in Paris during the Soviet era.
