In the 17th century, the town of Palanga boasted several workshops for working amber and in the 19th century, the town became one of the main centres for working amber. In this workshop, it is possible to discover the whole manufacturing process, from a piece of raw amber to the jewel. To combine culture with shopping, you can also buy amber on the spot. The place is managed by the guild of the master craftsmen of amber. Very instructive!
