This Catholic cathedral (Šv. Antano Paduviečio Katedra), a blend of Baroque and Classical, dates from 1762 and is dedicated to Saint Anthony of Padua, a priest of Portuguese origin mainly invoked to find lost objects. Its pink and gilded interior is well worth a visit. It is the only church with a two-tiered altar. Heading north up Birutės Street, at the end of Žalgirio Street you'll find the 19th-century Orthodox church, which also offers a fine view.
