This amber museum (in VO: Château d'Ambre) is located in the former town hall of the village, which was also the fortress of Palmnicken. The building alone is worth a visit. Many original pieces (pieces of raw, reworked or sculpted amber) and jewellery are on display. It is also a good opportunity to go shopping, as amber here costs almost nothing. We speak German and Russian, and if you can, it is more interesting to visit it with a guide.
