This is the highest hotel in Africa, perched at 3,260 m altitude. One of the most luxurious addresses in the region, it is part of an ecotourism project and employs villagers. Housed in stone tukuls with thatched roofs, the rooms are comfortable and rather chic, with beautiful views (uneven from bungalow to bungalow). You'll appreciate the hairdryer, hot water supplied by solar panels and cosy comforters to combat the cold. On chilly evenings, you can warm up by the fire in the bar or in the restaurant (good food).

If you're traveling with your family, you can opt forfamily rooms with two bedrooms and a bathroom accessible from the master bedroom . In addition,the hotel has a restaurant serving bothEthiopian and European dishes, as well as a bar, which is the highest spot for a drink inAfrica. During your stay, you'll have the opportunity to indulge in a variety of exciting activities, such as trekking in the Simien Mountains and cultural excursions.
