A 10-room lodge run by a Belgian in a pleasant setting, almost all with a view over the Babogaya crater lake, where you can swim (no bilharzia) or kayak. Cosy, comfortable rooms in traditional style. Coffee and tea available, fresh fish from the lake and salads from local farmers. Birdwatching and turtle watching with English-speaking guide. On-site: mini-golf, tennis, sauna, spa (massages) and boutique.

La vue est superbe sur le lac et j'ai un excellent souvenir du petit déjeuner avec la vue sur le lac. Toutefois les chambres sont sommaires et peu confortables, ce qui ne justifie pas le prix demandé. J'ai découvert d'autres hébergements à Bishoftu plus intéressants. Mais sans la vue superbe...
A perfect place to take a break from the capital, or to start or end a tour of the country... Charming welcome, superb setting the lake, birds, turtles...), a very good place for friends, couples, families with children. We have two day recently and we can only recommend very highly this place.
In a picturesque setting, children are delighted to discover turtles in freedom, the lodge overlooking the lake and we are delighted by the calm and very warm welcome of the staff and the managers.
a very welcoming place with a superb view. ideal for a longer stay including base for excursions in the surrounding area.
