Hotel-restaurant turned inexpensive guesthouse with comfortable rooms featuring charming antique furnishings and a terrace.
This hotel-restaurant next to the old Awash train station is legendary: Haile Selassie had his room reserved here, and Charles de Gaulle once passed through. The place, now an inexpensive guesthouse, retains its atmosphere. The rooms are very basic for the less expensive ones, but comfortable, under high ceilings with charming antique furniture and a terrace, for the more expensive ones. You can feel the splendor of yesteryear, but today everything is outdated. Even if the service is sometimes long, a stop for a meal on the veranda overlooking the garden is always pleasant.

Le débit d'eau n'est pas optimal et l'eau chaude est capricieuse.
