A few kilometers after the town of Babillé, around 40 km from Harar, on the Jijiga road, you enter the Dakhata Valley, renamed by the Italians as the "Valley of Wonders". This narrow, 13 km-long gorge is heaped with astonishing geological formations of volcanic origin. A curiosity to discover: huge rocks seem to have been piled on top of each other, while others cling to the arched walls, as if suspended in an unstable equilibrium that defies the laws of equilibrium.
