These thermal baths are located in the grounds of the Ambo Ethiopia hotel. A vast pool of natural hot water, produced by volcanic activity in the area, welcomes a few passing bathers. These curative thermal waters are only suitable for those who don't care too much for the transparency of the water, which is rather greenish due to the minerals in it. Even if it's regularly renewed, it's not very attractive. If you stop here, you can take a dip for a few birr. Note the pretty fig trees in the vicinity, which shade the site.
