A small, local, independent company, Epic Campers is one of the best options for solo or two-up travel. Their vehicles are well-maintained and well-equipped, and prices are reasonable for the quality of service on offer. Epic Campers has a base in Auckland and one in Christchurch. All vehicles are certified Self-Contained, which means you can use all Freedom camping sites in the country. You can also rent an awning to put on the back of the van for cooking and eating under cover in case of inclement weather!
