Auckland has a large Korean community, and there's even a sort of "Koreatown" right in the city center. Faro is one of the best addresses for Korean cuisine, and there's no shortage of typical Korean dishes: bibimbap, bulgogi, japchae, samgyeop, galbi and barbecues. In fact, Korean barbecue is a must if you've never tried it before. You can get a free refill on the side dishes. The service is pleasant and the place transports you to the Land of the Morning Calm without you even realizing it!
