A little classier than its neighbor Federal Deli, Depot is also an excellent diner, a credit to this street renowned for its good addresses. Here, too, you can sit at the bar or in the kitchen to enjoy good urban New Zealand food based on shareable dishes (the place also doubles as an Oyster Bar!). The playlist is well chosen, the service is very pleasant and the subdued lighting is in keeping with a setting where the framework and wind tunnel are apparent. The wine list makes it an ideal meeting place.
