SID AT THE FRENCH CAFE

Perceived by many as the best restaurant in Auckland for the last twenty years, the French Café is far from the bustle of the center, at the entrance of Mount Eden. The menu focuses on quality rather than quantity, with a choice of a few seasonal recipes that are well researched and nicely presented. The atmosphere is chic without being ostentatious and this establishment has not usurped its excellent reputation. French Café was taken over by Sid and Chand Sahrawat in 2018 who also have another restaurant in town under the name Cassia.
